With Little Dipper, children of all ages find paths to mindfulness, body awareness, and much more. Little Dipper Kids’ Yoga helps children access the life-changing benefits of yoga - mindfulness, concentration, balance, and so much more - through a kid-friendly program that focuses on play. Our Kids’ Yoga programs incorporate games, stories, props, and music to keep your little ones engaged as they strengthen their bodies and develop greater self-awareness. Laughter and silliness are highly welcome!
Beneath the fun, there’s a serious purpose: we’re building a solid foundation to help your kids cope with the future. In a society that so often saddles us with stress and anxiety, learning how to relax is a necessary survival skill. That’s true for adults, of course, but also for children, who learn from seeing how we deal with the world and act accordingly. Through yoga and mindful breathing, kids - even toddlers! - can learn how to release tension and worry. Our guided visualizations, breathing tools, and mindfulness techniques help improve concentration, self-control, and self-soothing, giving children tools that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Mommy & Baby Yoga
Mommy & Baby Yoga offers a supportive community where caregivers can breathe, relax, move, and connect with their babies and each other. Come as you are - and that includes “covered in baby spit-up and in the same sweatpants you put on three days ago,” if that’s how things are going right now.
Life with a new baby is full of wonder as well as worry, and can be overwhelming (in good and bad ways). It can also be incredibly isolating. Mommy & Baby Yoga is designed to offer support and community: together, we’ll cultivate an environment in which it’s easy and natural to live in the moment with your little one.
We’ll work on addressing the specific needs of postpartum mommies and caregivers: rebuilding strength; calming the mind; and releasing back, shoulder, and neck pain - all of that snuggling, feeding, soothing, and playing can take its toll on the body! These classes also incorporate simple poses for your baby that aid in development of motor skills, body awareness, self esteem, and secure attachment. You’ll also learn special poses that can help calm a fussy baby, or create extra joy during happy moments!
Any loving caregiver is welcome at Mommy & Baby Yoga. All babies are welcome - no matter how fussy or gassy. We fully expect and encourage feeding, diaper changes, giggling, crying (from baby or Mommy!), and playing. We can’t wait to welcome you!
